BCPA Events

A big part of the BCPA is the events that are held every couple of months or so at different dropzones around the country. To give every skydiving club in the UK the best chance of attending one of these events, regionals focus on each part of the country, with national events being held in fairly central locations.

Every year, there is a Freshers event. This is a chance for old friends to catch up after a long summer (of skydiving of course!) and for newer club members to meet other people at the same level. In recent years, there has always been a second event (around Valentines Day, so called the Valentines Meet) which gets every back together after the long winter break.

The regional events signal the start of the skydiving competitions in the various disciplines (see Competition Rules, above). These events help count towards a club's points totals in the league.

The Nationals are always very popular and successful, and give each team the chance to compete (in the air and on the ground of course!) for League points one last time, before a club is awarded the title of BCPA National Champions.
